College Credit Options
Any interested 7th-12th grader (for the 2021-2022 school year) and their parents/guardians are welcome to attend Cory-Rawson's College Credit Plus (CCP) Night on January 14th. This year the meeting will be held at Cory-Rawson's Elementary Cafeteria at 6:00pm . It is important to attend if your student plans to take college classes next year and/or plans to attend Millstream in one of the CCP option programs.
College Credit Plus Program - CC+ was created to allow eligible students (grades 7-12) to take college classes while in high school. Students earn college credit and high school graduation credit through college coursework. The purpose of the program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wider variety of options to high school students. Students/parents interested in CC+ must declare to the district their intent to participate by APRIL 1 in order to participate during the following year . I will host a CC+ meeting in mid-winter to cover options, requirements, and details. The date/time of the meeting is publicized on the CRHS main website, here, printed hallway signs, the CR listserv, the Counselor Corner bulletin board, and during morning announcements.
