Assignments for week of 3/30 due by 4/7:

Geometry:  Right Triangle Trig word problems, Draw a triangle and Use SOHCAHTOA (sine, cosine, and tangent) to solve the right triangle. 3-D shape video and lab, follow the instructions on the attached sheet.

Algebra 2:  Factoring Quadratic Equations, Can use any method we have covered in class; completing the square, quadratic formula, reverse FOIL; Right Triangle Trig word problems; Draw a triangle and use SOHCAHTOA (sine, cosine, and tangent) to solve the right triangle.

Probability: M & M's Prob lab, follow instructions on the attached sheet;  Leaning Tower of Lire lab, follow the instructions on the attached sheet.

Assignments for week of 4/6 due 4/14

Geometry:  Deltahedron Geometry Lab.pdf  There is a typo on #4, it should be "anti-prism" , here is a link for the deltahedron nets in case they are not on your lab - Deltahedron net .pdf;  ParallelCityProject.pdf use a sheet of graph paper.  If you do not have any, here are a few links to some: graphing_paper.pdfgraph paper template 13.pdf; or graph-paper-1cm-sq.pdf

Algebra 2:  Trig Conversion.pdf use the Unit circle that was handed out in class or get another one here unit circle chart 07.pdf, all answers should be left as fractions, remember to reduce all fractions. ;  Alg2 Leaning tower of lire.pdf follow the instructions on the attached sheet.

Assignments for week of 4/20 due by 4/28

Geometry:  Sometimes, never, always lab, if you are unable to print, just draw on another sheet of paper, 6 circles across and 6 circles down; Create crossword puzzle, if unable to print off then create on another sheet of paper.

Alg 2:  WHODUNNIT Logic labConverting Trig functions maze lab, If you are unable to print off, then copy onto another sheet of paper, make sure you use a different color for sine, cosine, and tangent, Use your unit circle to convert the degrees to an actual value.

Probability:  Starburst lab worksheet, if you do not have Starburst candy you can use slips of paper with the color written on it.  Watch the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyAwxrUadtw to show how to set up your paper.  Just draw your own squares, you do not need to use the tape just draw your lines; Hyperboloid lab

Geometry: Game show Logic Puzzle Use all of the clues to figure out who won the biggest prize and the date they won.

Algebra 2: University Logic Puzzle Use all clues to determine what nationality each student is, where they are attending college, and their subject matter.

Probability:  Kaiju Logic Puzzle Use all clues to determine what type of animal each kaiju is, the city it will destroy, and the size of each kaiju.
