7-12 Morning Announcements

Monday Announcements:

  • HS track practice will begin today after school.  Athletes, please bring indoor shoes and warm clothes in case we go outside for practice.
  • Congratulations to the placers at Sectionals this past weekend.  Jacob Anderson-2nd place and Hunter Niese-3rd place which qualifies both of them for districts.  Aiden Bisignano, Cale Parkins, Johnny Black, Zac Wooton received 5th place which qualifies them as alternates.  Good job and good luck at districts this Friday and Saturday!
  • Tuesday, February 28th, Juniors will be taking the ACT at the Mount Cory Park building. Students should report to 1st period for attendance and announcements before being released via PA to the band doors to load the bus.

Tuesday Additions:

  • JH and HS FCH will meet this Thursday in the community room during respective lunch times. Remember to ask for a Styrofoam try and "nicely" go to the front of the line so we can start the meetings in a timely manner.
  • Congratulations to Hazel Dixon for qualifying for the indoor state track and field meet at the SPIRE Institute this Friday! She will represent Cory-Rawson in the shot put on Friday afternoon!

Wednesday Additions:

  • The Findlay - Hancock County Chamber is accepting applications for the Hancock Youth Leadership class of 2024? The application deadline for is March 17, 2023. If interested please see Mrs. Barnhart.
  • The Cory-Rawson Music Boosters are sponsoring a scholarship for any senior who has been a 4 year member of band or choir. Please see Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Glenn or Mrs. Barnhart for an application.
  • There with be an informational meeting on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Abbey Gym with Coach Leuthold for any 8th-11th grade student interested in playing high school volleyball next year.

Thursday Additions:

  • The 'Hopeful Hornets', partnered with the Hancock Co You Belong Campaign. are bringing 6 Lunch N Learn programs to CR over the next 3 months.  Each Lunch N Learn will have a topic, guest speaker, and provided lunch. Our first Lunch N Learn topic on March 8th will be Living through Loss with Guest Kristy from BRIDGE Bereavement Services.  Please see your Email for a Google Form to RSVP by Monday March 6th A RSVP is required to attend and be included in the provided lunch.
