Thursday Additions:

  • Congratulations to the High School Quiz Bowl team as they competed last night at the Hancock County Quiz Bowl Tournament. After winning 3 matches in a row we ended up as runner up for the event and lost the final match to LB on the very last question. It was an exciting event and we are super proud of their accomplishment!

Wednesday Additions:

  • Junior High FCH will meet today during lunch in Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Schulte's rooms. Please come and hear a postive message and take time to create cards for Connor. If you plan to attend, please respectfully move to the front of the lunch line and ask for a styrofoam plate. Hope to see you there!

Tuesday Additions:

  • If you are preparing to take the ACT this Spring you are encouraged to attend the test preparation sessions on Wednesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 7 at Liberty-Benton. Each night there will be sessions from 7:00-8:10 and 8:20-9:30 pm. English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science will be presented during each session. You will choose two subjects to review on the first night and can then attend the remaining two subjects on the second night. You choose which subject sessions to attend each night. There is no charge for students to attend this program. You will enter the building through the main high school entrance. You need to bring a pen or pencil, notebook paper. See Mrs. Barnhart if you have questions.

Monday Announcements:

  • The first deadline for senior photo submission for the yearbook is January 18th. There will be one more deadline until the final deadline in March. If you do not submit a photo, the portrait taken on picture day will be used for the yearbook. Submit your photos to Mrs. Cuellar as soon as possible.

  • High School Play auditions will take place next Thursday, January 11th in Mrs. Cuellar's room after school. All students in grades 7-12 are invited to participate; there are many roles of all sizes! The audition scene is available on the counter in the high school office to look at ahead of time; ask Mrs. Stockwell or Mrs. Cuellar if you have any questions.

  • The 2024 Cory-Rawson Athletic Booster Scholarship application is now available. Applications can be picked up in the high school office. Applications are due back to Mr. Scott by April 5, 2024.

  • Juniors.....do you have an interest in Unites States History, Government, Civics, Debate and Public Speaking? Are you interested in a conference to develop these skills and learn more about good citizenship and leadership skills. Please talk with Mrs. Barnhart for more information and how to apply for a week long conference in June called Buckeye Boys and Buckeye Girls State..

  • High school FCH meets this Wednesday, Jan. 10th during lunch time in Mrs. Bucher's Room. You may go to the front of the lunch line in a respective manner so that you can arrive to our meeting in a timely manner. We will be making encouragement cards for Connor and his family.

  • Junior High FCH will meet this coming Wednesday during lunch in Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Schulte's rooms. Please come to hear a positive message and have a fun time of fellowship. If you plan to attend, please respectfully move to the front of the lunch line and ask for a styrofoam plate. Hope to see you there!
