Thursday Additions:

  • Congratulations to the Freshman and Juniors for taking the crown at the Powderpuff game last night!

    We want to thank all students that came out and participated in the Powderpuff game weather it was playing, coaching, announcing or cheering along in the stands!

    Also a special thank you go Mr. Gazarek and Mrs. Warren for all of their hard work organizing the event and making the evening such a great success!

    The night was definitely one to remember!

Wednesday Additions:

  • Attention student drivers: Reckless driving on school property puts everyone at risk and will result in the immediate revocation of your on-campus driving privileges. Follow posted speed limits, watch for pedestrians, and drive responsibly at all times.

  • Last night at the Bath Invitational the HS Boys placed 2nd. Leading the way was Micah Benedict in 10th place, Wyatt Foust in 13th, Thomas Craig was 14th, Jadyn Sammet was 18th, Tobin Foust was 22nd, and Daniel Reese was 27th. In the HS Girls race, Libby Kempf finished 9th with Ayla Fought placing 26th. For the MS Boys, Kypten Oman won, Asher Fought placed 6th, and Jonah Benedict was 12th. For the MS Girls, Molly Craig won with a new school record, breaking her own record by 20 seconds. Jossalyn Craig finished 2nd. Congratulations to all of the runners.

Tuesday Additions:

  • The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a standardized test that helps determine a person's suitability for military service and their strengths in various areas. If you are a junior or senior and plan to enlist in the military, please consider taking the ASVAB on Thursday November, 5th at Millstream Career Center. Please let Mrs. Barnhart know if you will be taking the test by October 12th.

  • Tom's Travelin' Coffee Truck will be here Friday morning before school starts.It will be located at the B4 doors by the auditorium. Make sure you stop by and purchase a drink to start your day! Orders mut be placed before the bell rings and students are responsible for being to class on time!

  • Sophomore class officers will meet with Miss Shumway Thursday Oct 1 during Academic Enrichment to discuss our up coming fundraiser. Please check your email.

  • Today is the last day NHS/NJHS forms will be accepted. If you want to join, get them submitted ASAP!

  • Good luck to our Junior High and High School Cross Country teams as they travel to Lima Bath for a 5:00 PM meet. Good luck to our JV and Varsity Volleyball teams as they host Waynesfield-Goshen beginning at 5:30 PM, and to our Junior High Volleyball teams as they host Perry at 5:30 PM. Finally, good luck to our Varsity Soccer team as they travel to Lincolnview for a 6:00 PM match. Good luck to all of our Hornet athletes and coaches competing today, and Go Hornets! Also don’t forget offseason athletes, the weight room is open Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30-7:30 before school.

  • The high school student council will meet today during lunch in Mrs. Mendoza's room If you are on the Homecoming Court Please make sure to check your emails for important information.

Monday Announcements:

  • It is homecoming week and that means minute to win it games all week long during the last 10 minutes of lunch for HS students. All week long each grade will compete for points. There will be a sign up sheet everyday in the HS office. Each grade will need 4 to 6 players depending on the game that day. Get ready to have some laughs and fun! GO HORNETS!!

  • Come on out Wednesday, September 30, after the powder puff football game and get "Fired Up" at the homecoming bonfire. Meet all the fall sports teams, band, cheerleaders and coaches. Enjoy the spirit of the season with cheers, band tunes, Psych out and more! Let's Get Fired Up, beat the Comets!!

  • On Saturday, the Cross Country teams ran at the Black Knight Invitational. There were 16 HS teams and over 90 runners in each race. The Boys finished 4th overall, the best placing ever at this meet. 6 of the runners finished in the top 50, with Micah Benedict leading the way in 12th, Wyatt Foust in 15th, and Thomas Craig in 17th. 6 runners beat their personal best. For the girls, they finished 11th as a team, led by Ayla Fought in 33rd and Libby Kempf in 43rd. Lilly Reese also bested her personal best by almost 1 min 30 sec. In the MS Boys race, Kypten Oman won, with Asher Fought placing 9th and Jonah Benedict placing 18th. For the MS Girls, Molly Craig was 2nd with Jossalyn Craig placing 5th. Opal Shilling also beat her personal best time by over 20 sec. The teams next run tomorrow at the Bath Invitational.

  • Good luck to the JH volleyball team taking on Waynesfield Goshen tonight! Congratulations to our football and volleyball teams over the weekend for their wins! Congratulations to Molly Craig for setting another JH school record breaking her own previous record! Now 12:14.35
