Mrs. Susan Wagner was a long time elementary teacher at Cory-Rawson. As many of you know she passed away this past spring after battling breast cancer. We would like to plant a “reading tree” in her honor. Mrs. Wagner was passionate about getting students to read. Our plan is to plant a shade tree near the elementary wing so that students and staff can read outside in the shade under Mrs. Wagner’s tree.
We invite anyone that would like to donate toward the reading tree to drop off donations in any school office or mail them to:

Checks should be made payable to Cory-Rawson Local Schools
All donations will go toward the cost of the reading tree. Any donations beyond that cost will go toward a bench underneath the tree, books for the school library or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Please have donations in by September 10, 2021. A dedication ceremony will be held this fall at a date to be determined. Thank you for your support in honoring Mrs. Wagner’s memory.
