Wednesday Announcements:
- If you have a question regarding your schedule please see Mrs. Barnhart during your study hall. Students can make schedule change requests to Mrs. Barnhart by September 14th. Please remember that you need to be taking 5 classes, which does not include physical education, to be eligible to participate in sports.
- The 4th period officiating basketball class will be held in room 129 which is the community room.
- Would you like to help plan fun activities and help to make our school better? Please plan on coming to a BRIEF informational meeting for Student Council on Friday morning at 7:45 (or when your bus gets here) in Mrs. Stockwell's classroom. Treats will be provided and all 7-12 students are welcome!
- Class Officer nomination forms have now been sent to all students in grades 9-12. If you are interested in running for an office, please complete and submit it by September 13th. Please ask Mrs. Stockwell if you have any questions!
- This Friday ,Sept. 9, there will be a "Meet The Team" session starting at 2:30 in the Bob Abbey gym.
- The High School Football team is selling tickets for a chicken BBQ on Sept. 29 starting at 4 pm. If interested ask a football player for tickets. The tickets are due by Sept. 26.
- Students, please take a minute to memorize your 5 digit student ID located at the top of your schedule. You will be required to enter this number when getting your lunches.
- Congratulations to our girls soccer team last night for their 6-1 victory over Otsego HS. Join boys soccer tomorrow night at 5 PM as we host Van Buren and celebrate First Responders Night. All first responders get in free with a valid ID.

- Homecoming t-Shirts are on sale now. Available in long-sleeve and short-sleeve. Extra order forms are available in the office. Sale ends Friday.
Friday Announcements:
- As we start our EMPIRE schedule next week, we have some interesting things starting up! 7th and 8th grade students, your teachers have some special information and activities planned for you specifically.
Students in grades 9-12: During the first few weeks of EMPIREs on Wednesdays, we are hosting a variety of Featured Speakers to share about your choices for after high school from firsthand experience. These speakers will present on a variety of careers, enlistment options, and potential college or university choices you might decide to pursue. During 4th period on Friday, you will be completing a short survey to select your preferences for which session you would most like to attend. The Homecoming Court will be invited this year to ride in the Mt. Cory Sesquicentennial parade!
- The afternoon Millstream Block "C" will be dismissed from Millstream to attend the Meet The Teams pep session starting at 2:30 pm in Bob Abbey Gym.
- Last night at the Riverdale Cross Country Invitational, Grant Welte finished 3rd out of 56 runners. Congratulations Grant and good luck on Saturday when he runs at the McComb Invite.
