To prepare for graduation practice, the CRHS Class of 2023 had breakfast served by members of the Board of Education, received a gift from board members, and were clapped-out by our elementary school students and staff. #HornetStrong
6th graders attended the JH/HS bump up day today. Students were welcomed to the JH where they met up with an upcoming 8th grader, completed a scavenger hunt to meet teachers and learn their way around the building, received their schedule for next year and finished off with a sweet treat and a t-shirt! It was a great day to be a Hornet!!

Today, we held the inaugural Cory-Rawson Amazing Shake, which serves as a capstone of our 7th grade THRIVE class. Over 40 guest judges were present to facilitate the first round, called "the gauntlet". During this round. students faced tasks such as making phone calls, ordering food at a restaurant, tying a tie, or solving a customer service complaint. Ten students advanced to the second round.
Round two involved mingling among a group of judges while enjoying snacks. In addition to greeting various judges, students had to initiate their conversations.
The final round brought the three finalists Jackson Bauman, Marissa Garrison, Violet Simon and CRHS alum and WKXA radio personality Rex Howard into the auditorium for an interview in front of an audience. We're so proud of ALL of our seventh graders for their amazing work today! Congratulations to the 2023 Cory-Rawson Middle School Amazing Shake champion Marissa Garrison!!!
