Today was kindergarten's 100th day of school! The classroom was invaded by 100 rubber ducks…but only 98 were found 😬. Miss Madison spoke to both kinder classes about her occupation and she made them cupcakes. Students also tried to keep their balloon off the ground for 100 seconds and many more activities. It was a fun day! #HornetStrong

Big thanks to the University of Toledo and Verdantas for hosting us for Engineer for a Day! Our students got to explore the many types of engineering, meet with professionals, learn about current projects Verdantas is working on in Ohio, and even try their hand at a 400ft egg drop from a drone! #HornetStrong

Reminder: Cory-Rawson is not in session on Monday 2/19/24.

The Environmental Science was able to finally enjoy the deer meat they processed earlier this year. To say the kids enjoyed all the food was an understatement! Students around the building had the opportunity to get their first taste at venison, if they desired! Thank you Ben Smith for helping cook and supplying the shop!

"It all started here."
We really enjoyed our time today with our Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame inductees as they shared their stories and inspired our students, reminisced, and toured our school. Join us tonight for their induction at halftime! #HornetStrong

The Environmental Science enjoyed the warm weather by going on a squirrel hunt with Mr. Parkins and his dog Hazel. The class was able to watch and learn how dogs are a valuable tool to hunt squirrel.
