Kindergarten/Begindergarten screening is set for March 15, 2024! If your child will turn 5 years of age by 8/1/24, they are eligible for Kindergarten. Hancock County ESC is scheduling developmental screenings for 3, 4, and 5 year-olds for whom there may be concerns in the areas of adaptive skills, cognitive/pre-academics, sensory/motor, social, and communication skills. The screening will take place Friday, March 22.
Preregistration is required - call 419-422-7525 ext. 209 between 3/4 and 3/18/24.

Literacy Night will be held on Wednesday, March 6 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the elementary gym and cafeteria. This will include games and activities. Pizza, chips, drink, and dessert will be provided at no cost for those who RSVP to wilson@cory-rawson.org by March 1. The Cory-Rawson Education Association will provide one free book to every PK-6 student. The book fair will be open during the literacy night as well.

Junior class officers will be selling prom tickets during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the month of March. Tickets are $20 each, which includes dinner, dancing and a photo booth. If you are bringing a guest from another school, please grab a guest form. See a junior officer or Mrs. Stockwell with questions!

Right to Read Week, in conjunction with our Scholastic Book fair, will be celebrated March 4 through 8 here at Cory-Rawson Elementary! The theme for the week is Cory-Rawson Builds Great Readers. STEAM activities will be incorporated during this week and prior to this week in order to build excitement for reading.
