Cory-Rawson welcomed back 1994 Alumni Doug Kose to kick off the 3rd Annual Cory-Rawson Community Day as the Keynote speaker. Doug spoke to our 7th - 12th graders about 'Chasing Your Dream, While Giving Back.' Doug chased his high school dream of working at a TOP 20 University Athletic Department and served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Sales at the University of Tennessee. After volunteering as a Big Brother his dream evolved and he then served as CEO for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Today Doug is the President of Transworld Business Advisors of Knoxville. He is a trusted counselor to the business community assisting visionary entrepreneurs to sell, acquire, and establish new businesses. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two girls, and continue to reside in Knoxville, TN. Thank you Doug for returning to your Alma Mater to give back and inspire our students to find ways, even today to give to those around us.

We LOVED hosting senior citizens and grandparents today for breakfast! Thank you for bringing sunshine to a rainy morning. Thanks to our staff for their work on this and to our community partners: 50North, Findlay-Hancock Public Library, NAMI, Community Partnership, and Hancock Public Health. #HornetStrong
