Today, English 9 and 10 participated in a "virtual field trip" called "Will's World", where they got to meet a professional actor who plays William Shakespeare and helped them to learn more about his plays and Elizabethan times. This event was made possible by a Distance Learning Scholarship from the Community Anchor Program. Cory-Rawson was one of only 38 schools nationwide to win this award!

On Friday students attended the Behavioral Health Expo to expand their knowledge on different health professions and career pathways. They toured different agencies in Lima including the Coleman Health Services and LIghthouse Behavioral Health Solutions that offer behavioral health services to the community. Students also visited the Rhodes State College BORRA Center for Health Services. Thank you to The Ohio State University Lima, Rhodes State College and Mental Health Recovery Service Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties for hosting and presenting this wonderful expo to our students.
Jason E. Searfoss ('90) is a member of the inaugural class of inductees to the Cory-Rawson Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. After earning degrees from Kenyon College and the University of Chicago, Jason co-founded a technology startup accelerator, has held leadership positions at some of the world's leading investment managers and banks, and is an active investor in and advisor to dozens of technology companies.

Congratulations to our HS Quiz Bowl team on earning runner-up at the Hancock County Quiz Bowl Tournament. It was a close final round, coming down to the final question! Our team was also runner-up in regular season play. #HornetStrong
Melana A. Maxie ('83) is a member of the inaugural class of inductees to the Cory-Rawson Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. Melana graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Her career in the aerospace defense industry focused on the F-35 and F-16 aircrafts.
